A Simple Guide to Preparing Ceremonial Cacao

step 1

Boil the kettle and let it sit while you make your cacao. You want the water to be hot, not boiling.

step 2

Put 20g of shaved ceremonial cacao into your blender with 80-120ml milk of your choice.

step 3

Add your sweetener of choice to taste. We love using honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar or stevia.

step 4

Add 100-150ml of hot water.Then blend for 10s or until frothy.

    Rise and Rest blends and long haul flights

    I recently used Cacao Collective 'Rise' blend on a long haul flight to Europe as a part of changing rhythms to a new time zone. On both the flight over and back, as soon as the aroma began filling the galley, the flight staff gathered to ask me what it was, as the smell was so delicious. I could wholeheartedly recommend the cacao and rise/rest blends. Both to and from Europe a flight attendant asked to have the little empty sachet to record the brand. Stong positive response from people who really know about nurturing body clocks.

    Perfect pick me up

    Best blend

    This works like coffee, wakes you up in the morning and then keeps awake and energised for more than half a day. The big difference is that you will never feel the negatives of caffeine. Highly recommended.
