A Simple Guide to Preparing Ceremonial Cacao

step 1

Boil the kettle and let it sit while you make your cacao. You want the water to be hot, not boiling.

step 2

Put 20g of shaved ceremonial cacao into your blender with 80-120ml milk of your choice.

step 3

Add your sweetener of choice to taste. We love using honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar or stevia.

step 4

Add 100-150ml of hot water.Then blend for 10s or until frothy.

    Faulty Portable Blender

    My blender does not have a seal in the base and therefore leaks. On the weekend I sent an email with a photo to hellocacaocollective . No response received as yet. No stars as product does not work correctly. Hope to hear from someone soon to arrange a replacement.

    Great portable blender

    This is a handy portable blender which blows my mind that you can put hot water in it and it doesn’t explode. We took this away with us last weekend which was great to be able to have our hot cacao in the morning. It took quite a bit to try work out how to use it, or maybe that’s just me. Overall it’s really good. Just have to make sure you screw the lid on straight or it goes everywhere.
