Cacao Berry Protein Smoothie

INGREDIENTS:

- 20g SHAVED CEREMONIAL CACAO

- *25g PROTEIN POWDER (PLANT BASED OR WPI)

- *SWEETENER / HONEY

- 1 x small banana (optional)

- 1/2 CUP FROZEN BLUEBERRIES

- 1/2 CUP FROZEN CHERRIES

- 140ML OF ALMOND MYLK

- handful of ice (if you like it super thick)

 

METHOD:

  1. Add 20g of shaved cacao to your blender (or jug if you are using a hand-held/stick blender)
  2. Pour enough hot water over the cacao to melt it (about 30ml).
  3. Add your frozen berries (blueberries & cherries) & banana
  4. add 140ml of mylk and protein powder (add optional sweetener)
  5. Add your ice and blend until all ingredients are fully blended.
  6. Pour into a cup and enjoy!

TIP: Replace any of the berries with your favourite. Raspberries and blackcurrants are great too!
